Training in ISO 19011:2002 and ISO/IEC 17021:2006

Training sessions on the subject of  “ ISO 19011:2002 for laboratories” and “ISO/IEC 17021:2006” were held as part of the Project entitled Technical Assistance to Quality Infrastructure Institutions in the Republic of Serbia.

Training in the requirements of ISO 19011:2 Guidelines for quality and/or environmental management systems auditing was delivered in the period between 14th and 18th June, and Guillaume Haran, COFRAC (France) assessor, was the trainer. The training was attended by the representatives of the Accreditation board of Serbia, Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals, and candidates for ATS assessors.

The training included the introduction to the content and practical application of the standard, assessment planning, organisation and implementation in accordance with the requirements of the standard, identification, classification of and reporting on nonconformities, assessment aspects and interpretation of standard clauses that training delegates had doubts about. The training was delivered through lectures, exercises and interactive group work (solving imaginary assessment situations, discussion, identification of and reporting on nonconformities, etc.).

The training in ISO/IEC 17021:2006 Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems, was delivered in the period between 16th and 18th June, and the trainer was Patric Reposeur who is also a COFRAC assessor. He presented the content of the standard and interpreted some of the requirements of the standard and their practical use. This training session was attended by the representatives of the Accreditation Board of Serbia and of the Directorate of Measures and Precious Measures.
