EN 45011 training of ATS assessors

EN 45011 training of ATS assessors (General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems, (ISO/IEC Guide 65:1996)) as part of the PTB Project entitled “Support of the Quality Infrastructure in Serbia” was delivered at the ATS premises, Belgrade, in the period between 5th and 6th December 2012. The training was delivered by the DakkS (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle) assessors, dr Thomas Schüter and dr Tilman Denkler.

Requirements of the current reference document for the assessment of certification bodies operating product certification systems were presented in detail, including the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065:2012, Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services. The training covered a series of practical examples presented by one of the most experienced European accreditation body, DakkS, and a detailed explanation of certain mandatory documents used by DakkS when performing assessments of the said certification bodies. The practical experiences resulted from the work of technical committees operating within DakkS.

In addition to the ATS employees in charge of the coordination of accreditation activities in this field and those participating in the accreditation decision-making, the training was attended by the future technical assessors (for the following fields: organic production, building materials, pressure vessels, Eh equipment), and by the representatives of the Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals.
