Transition Period for SRPS ISO/IEC 17021:2011

The Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) finalised all activities related to the transition period for the new edition of SRPS ISO/IEC 17021:2011 on 1st February 2013 given that it pertains to the operation of the certification bodies providing certification of management systems. During regular surveillance assessments or reassessments carried out at the head offices of the certification bodies ATS assessed whether the new edition of the standard was being applied. Pursuant to the plans for the transition to the new edition of the standard prepared by certification bodies, necessary changes in the CB management systems occurred (changes in the procedures, new or amended auditor competence criteria, etc.). ATS made, on the basis of the assessment results, adequate decisions, and accreditation certificates were changed and new accreditation symbols were issued.
