Seminars for accredited TLs and CLs held

On 25th June 2013, the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) organised a seminar for accredited calibration laboratories, while seminars for accredited testing laboratories were organised on 26th and 27th June 2013 with the aim of introducing the said laboratories to the changes made to the ATS management system documents in order to increase the efficiency of the accreditation procedure.


The lectures were given by Jasna Stojanović, Bratislav Milošević PhD, Ljiljana Markićević and Dušanka Santovac.


Jasna Stojanović, ATS Acting Director, introduced the present participants to the changes made to the Rules of Accreditation, Rules for the Use of Accreditation Symbol, Text Reference to Accreditation and ATS Status as a Signatory to the EA MLA, ILAC MRA and IAF MLA Agreements, Rules of Cross-frontier Accreditation, Rules for the Use of ATS Logo, method to resolve complaints and appeals, decision-making and accreditation granting, identification and assessment of satisfaction of the ATS clients, and upgrade of the management system.

Bratislav Milošević PhD, ATS Assistant Director, presented to the present delegates the guides for the application of SRPS ISO/IEC 17025 when assessing and accrediting laboratories performing microbiological testing, and accreditation of laboratories for the flexible scope of accreditation.

Ljiljana Markićević, Head of the Laboratory Department, presented to the present delegates the guides for the formulation of scopes of accreditation for testing laboratories, accreditation of sampling activities, guides for the application of SRPS ISO/IEC 17025 when assessing and accrediting laboratories performing sensory testing, and she explained how they could access the information of special importance to their work on the ATS internet portal.

Dušanka Santovac, Senior Adviser, introduced the present participants to the changes made to the Rules for the Participation in Inter-laboratory Comparisons and PT Schemes, Rules for Obtaining Acceptable Traceability of Measurement, and rules for the assessment of the uncertainty of measurement.
