The NAH and ATS bilateral meetings

In the period from November 23 to 27, 2020, ATS is a host to a dear guest from the region, Mr. Miklós Devecz,  the NAH (National Accreditation Body of Hungary) Director and on that occasion bilateral meetings of the two accreditation bodies, NAH and ATS were held. The most important activity of the first two days of the meetings is the harmonization and signing of the Action Plan for 2021 for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between NAH and ATS, signed in December 2017.

During Mr. Miklós Devecz's visit, on Monday, November 23, a bilateral meeting of the two bodies was held at the ATS premises, during which the experiences of the NAH and ATS regarding the fulfillment of the requirements of the EA MLA, IAF MLA, and ILAC MRA concerning the national laws and regulations, i.e. national legal acts referring to accreditation and the legal status of accreditation bodies in the light of the Regulation 765/08 were presented. In addition to prof. Aco Janićijević, PhD, the ATS Acting Director, and Mr. Miklós Devecz, the NAH Director, the meeting was also  was attended by Jasna Stojanović, the ATS Deputy Director, and MSc Natalija Jovicic-Zaric, the Assistant Director of Development and Quality.

On Tuesday, November 24, a bilateral meeting of the Heads of NAH and ATS was held to discuss the experience in the accreditation of both accreditation bodies related to the transition to new versions of international standards ISO/IEC 17011: 2017 (especially concerning clause7.13 ISO / IEC 17011 and the appeal procedure) and ISO/IEC 17025: 2017. The two ABs are satisfied with the progress of the transition process, and ATS pointed out that all calibration laboratories assessments  were performed, and that only 8 of them are yet to be performed during which the transition of testing laboratories would be confirmed. Also, experiences were exchanged regarding the EA peer evaluation findings, as well as the transition to the new edition of the standard ISO/IEC 17011: 2017.

In the period from November 25 to 27, prof. Aco Janićijević, PhD, the ATS Acting Director and Mr. Miklós Devecz, the NAH Director, will attend the 22nd national and 8th international scientific conference entitled "Quality system condition for successful business and competitiveness" opening. The conference was organized by the Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia.
