Assessor training for medical laboratory accreditation purposes

The Accreditation Board of Serbia delivered the assessor training for medical laboratory accreditation purposes in the period between 9th and 11th March 2009 as a follow-up to the preparation for the accreditation of medical laboratories as per SRPS ISO 15189:2008.
Pursuant to the ATS procedure pertaining to assessor training, the training comprised the introduction to SRPS ISO 15189:2008 and practical application thereof, planning, organisation and assessment in accordance with the requirements of the standard, and reporting on assessment findings.
The training was delivered in the form of lectures, exercises and interactive group work (problem-solving assessment simulation exercises, discussion, and the like).
15 trainees successfully completed the training.
