Training for assessors for the purpose of GI accreditation
NoticesTraining for accreditation assessors took place in the Palace of Serbia, Belgrade, as part of the Swiss-Serbian TCP 2009-2012 in the field of GLOBALG.A.P. and geographical indications (GI).
The training was divided into two parts – the first part lasted for three days when Swiss experts presented general principles of EN 45 011, geographical indications, roles and competences of lead and technical assessors and experts, assessment reporting, and Swiss experiences in the field of accreditation and certification of geographical indications.
Goran Savanović, ATS lead assessor, presented the roles and tasks of the assessment team members, assessment procedure, and assessment rules of conduct and Assessors’ Code of Conduct. First part of the training included onsite work when delegates were able to see the production of the Futog cabbage.
Second part of the training was dedicated to GlobalG.A.P. when Friedrich Lüdeke, FoodPlus expert, presented the certification procedure as performed by FoodPlus and key technical requirements of certification activities. Furthermore, he participated in the field work when the delegates visited Rudnap Agrar (apple production), and it was followed by assessment report writing.
The training was attended by 8 delegates.
Training lecturers were as follows: Hanspeter Ischi (Swiss consultant), Dominique Barjolle (REDD), Corinne Couilerot (REDD), Friedrich Lüdeke (Food Plus) and Goran Savanović (ATS).
