Public Invitation to Technical Experts to Apply
CompetitionsIn addition to the general public invitation which is open throughout the year, ATS hereby informs interested experts that it is seeking to appoint a larger number of technical experts for the assessment of certification bodies providing certification of management systems (quality management system, environmental management system, occupational health and safety management system, food safety management system).
An eligible candidate has to submit a completed application for assessors and technical experts to the following address: Accreditation Body of Serbia, Bulevar Mihaila Pupina 2, Novi Beograd or e-mail it to: office@ats.rs. Closing date for applications is 31st January 2013.
The completed application and accompanying documents need to be underpinned by evidence confirming the fulfilment of criteria for the position in question, and by information about any previous engagement by certification bodies providing certification of management systems.
From 1st February 2013 the Committee for Assessors will conduct interviews with selected candidates.
Criteria for the selection of technical experts participating in assessments of certification bodies as per ISO / IEC 17021 are as follows:
- Educational background: university degree in technical and technological sciences, natural sciences and mathematics, medical and biotechnical sciences;
- Work experience: at least four years of work experience at least two years of which should pertain to technical issues as per relevant EA codes and food chain categories;
- Knowledge and skills: knowledge of laws and regulations relating to the processes and/or products;
- Specific knowledge and skills as regards quality management system/occupational health and safety management system/environmental management system: for QMS and OHSAS: good knowledge of processes and products, including services (e.g. production planning, services, quality control, development, design, etc.); for EMS: experience in pollution prevention and/or knowledge of technical aspects and environmental aspects (e.g. completed training in storage, use and disposal of materials and their impact on the environment, trained member or experienced member of emergency response team).
