Training for technical assessors assessing testing and calibration laboratories

Pursuant to the 2012 Training Plan and Programme, three training sessions were organised in the period between October and December 2012 for technical assessors for the purpose of assessment of testing laboratories (two training sessions) and calibration laboratories (one training session) as per SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2006. The delegates needed to have adequate competence in those CA fields with insufficient number of assessors or technical experts. Most of the delegates were experts that had already participated in assessments performed by ATS when granting accreditation to testing or calibration laboratories.


The training was delivered in keeping with the ATS-PR03 procedure and it included standardised modules for the training of technical assessors. In addition to the interpretation of the requirements of SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2006, other mandatory documents in keeping with the ATS-UP01 guideline and regulations governing accreditation, accreditation procedure performed by ATS, use of ATS documents during the accreditation procedure, the training covered a series of tasks that were delegated to the delegates to be performed during group work sessions. All those that passed the final test became candidates for technical assessors for testing or calibration laboratories. Pursuant to the ATS-PR02 procedure, the candidates will have to participate in two assessments as observers, and then they will be monitored by experienced assessors during one assessment they will have to perform on their own.


After the training has been delivered, there were forty candidates for technical assessors for testing and calibration laboratories.


The training was delivered by a team of experienced lecturers: Ljiljana Markićević, Milica Jovčić, Azra Redžepović, Aleksandra Nikolić and Natalija Jovičić Zarić.
