ATS signed a contract on cooperation in the field of information safety
Current eventsOn 18th May 2015, a contract on cooperation in the field of information safety was signed with the Office of the National Security and Classified Information Protection Council at the premises of the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS).
The cooperation will include activities to extend the scope of the ATS activities pertaining to accreditation of certification bodies providing certification of information security management system (ISO 27001).
Given that ATS and the Office of the National Security and Classified Information Protection Council perform, among other things, activities related to the upgrade and innovation of knowledge and know-how needed to process and protect data, and given some overlapping in the activities they perform and a possibility to establish educational and technical cooperation, a justifiable need to establish cooperation in this field occurred.
Objectives of this educational, professional and technical cooperation will include the following: preparation of and participation in the implementation of national and international projects; organisation of technical counseling sessions, seminars and other conferences; use and transfer of technologies; cooperation in the preparation of courses, scientific seminars, conferences, round-table discussions and other forms of continuous education in the field of data processing and protection; development of a technical database covering cooperation and development of publishing activity in the fields of mutual interest.
Milica Lukešević, ATS Acting Director, signed the contract on behalf of ATS, whereas Goran Matić, Office Director, signed the contract on behalf of Office of the National Security and Classified Information Protection Council.
