On 9th March 2012 the Accreditation Body of Serbia organised, together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, a meeting on the subject of application of the new regulations governing pressure vessels at the ATS premises.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Ministry: Zoran Filipović, Assistant Minister, Uroš Đurđević, Head of the Pressure Vessel Inspection Department, Aleksandra Babić, Head of the Legal Department, and Olga Antić Miočinović, Head of the Technical Affairs Group, and ATS representatives: Dejan Krnjaić PhD, ATS Director; Ljubica Živanić, Head of the Certification and Inspection Department, Natalija Jovičić Zarić, ATS Deputy Director, and representatives of accredited inspection and certification bodies, and ATS assessors and technical experts from the field of pressure vessels.
The key topic of the meeting related to the application and mode of assessment of the requirements of the Regulation on the Inspection of Pressure Vessels in Use (“Official Gazette of the RS” No. 87/11), Regulation on Technical Requirements for the Design, Manufacture and Conformity Assessment of Simple Pressure Vessels (“Official Gazette of the RS” No. 87/11) Regulation on Technical Requirements for the Design, Manufacture and Conformity Assessment of Pressure Vessels (“Official Gazette of the RS” No. 87/11).
Unresolved issues that were raised as regards the requirements of the said regulations were clarified during the meeting and a series of queries raised by the present delegates were answered. Specific conclusions related to the application of the said regulations were made since they would be an integral part of the assessment performed by the ATS and incorporated in the ATS internal documents. The said documents will be made publically available after the approximation procedure and made obligatory for conformity assessment bodies during accreditation procedure.
