Seminar on TBT Enquiry Point and notification of technical regulations

A seminar on TBT Enquiry Point and notification of technical regulations was held on 22nd January 2013 and it was intended for the ministries /agencies responsible for the adoption and application of technical regulations related to potential technical barriers to trade. It was organised by IDEAS Centre in Geneva and Sector for Quality Infrastructure within the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

The seminar topic pertained to the development of the work of the TBT Enquiry Point when a colleague from  the United Kingdom (given that it is a WTO and EU member) presented her experience in terms of organisation of the work of the TBT Enquiry Point, and the development of cooperation with respective ministries/institutions needed for the fulfilment of the obligations arising from the WTO Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade and CEFTA (obligations of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and other ministries).
