ATS seminars held
SeminarsOn 18.06.2013, the first seminar was held to herald a series of seminars that the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) organised in order to introduce conformity assessment bodies to the changes to its management system documents in order to increase the efficiency of the accreditation procedure.
The seminar was attended by certification bodies providing certification of management systems. Jasna Stojanović, ATS Acting Director, introduced the present participants to the changes made to the Rules of Accreditation, Rules for the Use of Accreditation Symbol, Rules of Cross-frontier Accreditation, method to resolve complaints and appeals, and witnessing criteria.
Ljubica Živanić, Head of the Inspection and Certification Department, presented the guide for the formulation of scopes of accreditation for certification bodies providing certification of management systems. Moreover, she explained how they could access the information of special importance.
Svetlana Golubović, ATS, explained the duration of QMS and EMS audits.
The second seminar that was organised for inspection bodies and certification bodies providing certification of products and persons was held at the MP Club (Klub poslanika), 2 Tolstojeva Street, Belgrade, on Thursday, 20.06.2013, at 10 a.m.
The lectures were given by Jasna Stojanović, Ljubica Živanić and Dušanka Santovac. In addition to the changes made to the ATS management system documents, the present participants were introduced to transitional periods for ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17024, and to the rules for the participation in inter-laboratory comparisons and PT schemes. Furthermore, it was announced that ATS would soon adopt new guides for the accreditation criteria and assessment of certification bodies providing certification of products in the field of organic farming.
