ATS signed new MoUs in the field of accreditation
Current eventsMilica Lukešević, ATS Acting Director, and Jasna Stojanović, ATS Assistant Director of International Cooperation, attended the 34th meeting of the General Assembly of the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA GA) that was held in the period between 19th and 20th November in the Hague, the Netherlands, when the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of accreditation between ATS and the Slovak Accreditation Service (SNAS) was signed. Milica Lukešević signed the MoU on behalf of ATS, while Martin Senčák, SNAS Director, signed the MoU on behalf of SNAS.

Moreover, another MoU in the field of accreditation was signed between ATS and the Slovenian Accreditation (SA). The signing ceremony took place on 3rd December 2014 on the occasion of the Accreditation Day in the Republic of Slovenia (Brdo pri Kranju). Milica Lukešević signed the MoU on behalf of ATS, while Boštjan Godec PhD, SA Director, signed the MoU on behalf of SA.

MoU signing endorsed the formal recognition of the long-term cooperation between ATS and the said accreditation bodies.
The purpose of this MoU is to ensure continuous cooperation between accreditation bodies and therefore harmonise performance of accreditation activities in the region. Furthermore, accreditation bodies will actively participate in the development and upgrade of accreditation system in respective countries.
