New editions of standards ISO/IEC 17011 and ISO/IEC 17025

We hereby inform all conformity assessment bodies as well as all interested parties that on 1^st December 2017 new editions of the following standards were published:

• ISO/IEC 17025:2017, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

ILAC Resolution GA 20.15 from 2016 sets forth that the transition period for implementation of the new edition of the standard is three years from the date of the publishing of new version (i.e. by 1^st December 2020).

• ISO/IEC 17011:2017, Conformity assessment - Requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies

Resolution of Joint General Assembly sets forth that the transition period for implementation of the new edition of the standard is three years from the date of the publishing of new version (i.e. by 1^st December 2020).

The Accreditation body of Serbia will present in the following period its plan of transition to new versions of standards in accordance with resolutions of international accreditation organisations (IAF, ILAC and EA).
