Introducing CAF model in ATS

Following modern business trends, the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) in cooperation witht the Ministry of public administration and local self-government within the framework of the European Union (EU) project for public administration reform – EU4PAR, has started activites to introduce quality management through the Common Assessment Framework  CAF). 

CAF is a quality management tool, established by the EU member states, which is used jointly by managers and employees in the form of self-assessment and thus analyze and recognize their strengths and potential for improvement.

Acquiring the CAF mark implies not only setting standards that are a reference for the organization, but also looking at wider requirements with people, partners, social responsibility as well as results in these areas.

ATS recognized CAF as an effective instrument that serves to continuously improve work, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of work process, constant monitoring, assessment and improvement of the quality of services using the advantages of strategic management and to the satisfaction of its users and all interested parties.

During the initial meeting held on September 21st, 2022 in the premises of ATS, the project of introduction and application of CAF was presented, positive examples from practice were given and term plans by implementation stages were discussed.
It is planned that the activites on the introduction of CAF will last about a year.

The initial meeting was attended by Ljiljana Uzelac and Danilo Rodić on behalf of the Ministry of public administration and local self-government, and expert Goran Paštrović on behalf of the EU4PAR project. ATS representatives were Dragan Pušara, Simo Tomić, Ljiljana Markićević and Jovana Jovanović.
