Joint Working Group (JWG) ISO-ILAC-IAF published a joint statement of IAF-ILAC-ISO on 17 April 2017 certifying that laboratories accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 - General Requirements for Competence of Testing Laboratories and Calibration Laboratories have established a recognized management system.
When a laboratory meets the requirements of ISO / IEC 17025: 2005, this means that it also meets the requirements related to technical competence and requirements for the management system, which is necessary for the test and calibration results issued by such a laboratory to be always valid. Requirements for the ISO / IEC 17025 management system are written so that the terminology used in them adequately describes the work of the laboratories and the laboratories meet the principles of the ISO 9001 standard.
