Cross-frontier Accreditation Rules Adopted

The ATS Management Board adopted the ATS's Cross-frontier Accreditation Rules at the 17^th session that was held on 12^th February 2009. 

These Rules define the policy that the Accreditation Board of Serbia (ATS) applies when accrediting bodies based out-with the territory of the Republic of Serbia or bodies from the Republic of Serbia performing conformity assessment activities abroad. They are applied to all types of CABs, i.e. testing and calibration laboratories, certification bodies and inspection bodies.

The ATS Rules are based on the principles pertaining to cross-frontier accreditation as defined in international standards and documents of EA, ILAC and IAF.
